Most social networks use a standard authentication process, usual requirements are a user name/ email address and password to join the network, Twitter for instance requires a user name and a password and then your user name will form the suffix partof your Twitter domain name ie www.twitter.com/yourcompanyname. Look at www.twitter.com/googlyfish, www.facebook.com/googlyfish and www.myspace.com/googlyfishjobs as further examples.
